Carlo's first...

Being the big brother Christian was born first. So he has his little brother Carlo beat on getting many of the first things one gets out of life. The first one to kindergarten, the first one to drive, first dibs on the front seat when we go out driving together, first kiss (eh, umm) etc. But Carlo was able to accomplish something before his older brother....Carlo broke his leg!

It happened last Friday, January 27 at an indoor playground facility called Kangazoom. He was sliding down a very large inflatable slide....and then he hurt himself when he landed at the bottom. It's a very small fracture on his left tibia. (his left shin basically) Children's Healthcare of Atlanta took care of him so well! He did great! He will be wearing a cast for 2 - 4 weeks. (see picture)

So... for his 3rd birthday party that was scheduled at Kangazoom this coming April, has been cancelled. It will now be at Chuck E. Cheese in Smyrna.

But Marineli and I are so proud of Carlo! He has bouced back so well. He hasn't skipped a beat! What an inspiration!
